Boardquest: Tales of Liria to be released in Russia - a fantasy-themed board strategy game
The board strategy game Boardquest: Tales of Liria will reach Russian-speaking players, allowing them to explore the fantasy lands of Liria, command armies of orcs, humans, elves, or demons, acquire loot, crush monsters, and strengthen their units.
Board Zeppelin publishing house announced that it will localize Boardquest: Tales of Liria into Russian — a strategic board game set in a fantasy world for 1–4 players, where gamers can become commanders of one of the factions and compete for dominance over the land of Liria.
Participants will have the opportunity to side with orcs, humans, elves, or demons — each faction has its own style and unique abilities. The world is unfriendly: the terrain changes, monsters are encountered along the way, and every victory requires well-thought-out decisions and sometimes sacrifices.
Each faction has its own charismatic leader with special abilities: for example, the orc shaman supports the army with ancestral magic, the elven sorceress protects her lands, and the demon lord manipulates the life and death of opponents. Battles are based on positioning, ability cards, and resource management. Everything revolves around cards and a hexagonal field.
In battles, players collect gold, loot, and experience, find legendary weapons and artifacts, strengthen units, and unlock new abilities. In addition to enemy armies, Liria is teeming with monsters — from ordinary goblins to rare and powerful bosses like the ancient dragon Balthazar.
There is no randomness in dice rolls in Boardquest — everything is decided by the hand of cards and the ability to read the field. Since the game board is new every time, and each faction has its own playstyle, participants will constantly have to look for new combinations and try different strategies.
The game includes 35 premium stands, a modular board, and a card system, which provides a lot of variability with relatively fast games (60–180 minutes).
