Daredevil heroine cut from "Spider-Man: New Day" - Rosario Dawson confirms rumors
The actress who played Claire Temple spoke about her failed return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Actress Rosario Dawson, known for her role as Claire Temple in the series "Daredevil," "Luke Cage," and "Iron Fist," confirmed rumors of her participation in the film "Spider-Man: New Day." She did indeed film a scene, but the episode was not included in the final version of the picture. Dawson spoke about this during a panel at GalaxyCon:
"I even shot a scene for the new Spider-Man movie, but I was cut."

The actress did not specify why the scene was excluded from the film. According to unconfirmed reports, in "New Day," the Punisher was supposed to bring a seriously wounded Spider-Man to Claire.
The worldwide premiere of "Spider-Man: New Day" will take place on July 31, 2026. Meanwhile, the film has already been released in Chinese cinemas, where, according to analysts' forecasts, it could show the best result among Hollywood films in the last seven years.
