The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake receives age rating

This suggests that Nintendo will reveal more details about the project soon.

It seems Nintendo is preparing to share new details about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake. An age rating from the American organization ESRB has appeared on the game's page in the company's digital store, which often happens shortly before the start of a full-fledged marketing campaign.

The remake was first officially unveiled at the June Nintendo Direct presentation. So far, the developers have limited themselves to a single trailer, which showed viewers a young Link peacefully sleeping at the end of the video. Since then, Nintendo has not revealed any additional details about the project.

Now, users have noticed that the game's page has received an E10+ (Everyone 10+) rating, recommending the game for an audience aged 10 and up. The description also includes warnings about animated blood and fantasy violence. Interestingly, the remake's card is not yet available on the official ESRB website.

However, the assigned rating completely matches the one previously received by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for Nintendo 3DS. Earlier versions of the game, released on Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and Wii U, had an E (Everyone) rating at the time.
