Another The Elder Scrolls and a new Fallout from the creators of Wasteland are in development - rumor
Some players believe that Bethesda Game Studios has big plans for TES.
Bethesda Game Studios has been developing The Elder Scrolls VI for many years, but the project still has no release date or release window. It is possible that at least one more project is being prepared for the franchise in parallel.
Players recently noticed that the profile of former BGS employee Griffin DeClaire mentions an unknown game, "Unreleased Elder Scrolls Title." The specialist was involved in writing individual quests and questlines, creating "internal documentation" on game lore and project design principles.
However, some participants in the discussion expressed the opinion that this actually refers to The Elder Scrolls VI, and the developer might have simply used a different wording to list this project in his portfolio.
Earlier in July, Bethesda Game Studios announced several new projects for the Fallout franchise, including remasters of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, as well as the fifth main installment and a game from Obsidian Entertainment.
Insider and Windows Central journalist Jez Corden mentioned in a recent podcast that inXile Entertainment, which is currently making Clockwork Revolution, is already "incubating the next game." According to the insider, he heard "interesting rumors" that this game could potentially be related to Fallout. However, everything is still in the early stages, so he added: "take this with a large grain of salt."
The new Fallout games do not yet have release dates.
