Cosplayer embodies Kratos from God of War - Atreus's father and slayer of gods
Cosplayer Roman "ZEROR" Martynenko traveled to the North to transform into Kratos - the main character of the God of War series, who constantly has to fight gods and mythological monsters.
Although the announcement of God of War Laufey angered some fans of the series, over the past 21 years, this franchise has managed to acquire a huge number of fans.
Especially for these people, photographer Tamara "LekherPhoto" Lekher held a photoshoot during which cosplayer Roman "ZEROR" Martynenko appeared as Kratos from the game God of War (referring to the project released in 2018, not 2005).
Kratos is the son of Zeus, husband of Faye, and father of Atreus. After destroying the Olympian gods, he settled in the distant Scandinavian North. His character underwent significant changes compared to previous installments of the series. Blind, destructive rage was replaced by restraint, stern judgment, and constant self-control.
Kratos tries his best to suppress his inner monster so as not to set a bad example for his son, which makes him seem like a cold, taciturn, and overly strict father.
His powerful body is covered with old scars, including the famous mark on his stomach from Zeus's sword, and a thick graying beard now stands out on his ash-pale skin. His stern facial features, deep wrinkles, and heavy gaze reveal a man who has known too much pain and is tired of endless battles.
He possesses immense strength and can heal mortal wounds with Spartan Rage. In combat, Kratos masterfully uses the magical Leviathan Axe, which can return to his hand at his call, and the famous Blades of Chaos.
