Almost an Hour of Control Resonant: Developers Revealed Key Changes

Remedy Entertainment showed 50 minutes of Control Resonant gameplay, where the main character Dylan fights on a captured Manhattan with the help of a modular gun and supernatural abilities.

Remedy Entertainment presented almost an hour of Control Resonant gameplay. The demonstration was shown as part of an event for the Chinese audience, where new campaign episodes, an updated combat system, and a special suit for the main character Dylan were revealed.

This is early game footage. After leaving the Oldest House, Dylan finds himself in Manhattan, which has been captured by mysterious creatures. The very first minutes show that Control Resonant differs significantly in pace and style from the first part.

The main change is the combat system. While in Control, the basis of battles was telekinesis and Jesse Faden's Service Weapon, Dylan more often engages in close combat, combining supernatural abilities with a new modular gun, which, like the Service Weapon, changes its form and attack style.

The developers also showed an exclusive suit for Dylan, created for the Chinese audience.

Control Resonant will be released on September 24 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
