Visitors to the American retail chain Target discovered some rather unusual items on the shelves. For some reason, new dioramas from Console Heroes, intended for fans of Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, and Twisted Metal 2, appeared there ahead of schedule.
The Twisted Metal 2 Sweet Tooth diorama brings the chaos of the “Hong Kong” level to life in a detailed collectible format. This officially licensed set features a mini-scene built into a plastic PlayStation game case that opens to reveal a stylized urban battlefield inspired by the game. It includes Needles Kane's (aka Sweet Tooth's) famous ice cream truck, as well as environmental elements.
The Metal Gear Solid Snake vs Cyborg Ninja Diorama set includes a plastic PlayStation game case that opens to reveal a detailed laboratory inspired by the game. It also features 3.81 cm Solid Snake and Cyborg Ninja figures, each with a slotted base for fixation. The diorama is complemented by molded laboratory equipment, control panels, and a printed background to complete the look.
The Final Fantasy VII Cloud vs Sephiroth set includes two mini-figures of Cloud and Sephiroth (approximately 3.8 cm tall), each with a slotted base for dynamic placement. The scene is complemented by molded fire elements, a raised platform, and a printed background inspired by the most memorable moments of Final Fantasy VII.
A larger set with a PlayStation console diorama was also supposed to appear, but it was likely not delivered to Target. Many retailers indicate that the full release of these new products is expected on November 26, 2026.
The collectibles are 12.7 cm high, 11.43 cm wide, and 12.7 cm deep. The game dioramas will be available for $14.99 (1189 rubles), while the PlayStation diorama will cost $24.99 (1982 rubles). Its height is 18.41 cm, width is 23.50 cm, and depth is 18.41 cm.
