The sequel will hit home screens seven months after its premiere in Japanese cinemas.

Netflix has released the official trailer for the anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe" and announced its digital premiere date. The second part of the planned trilogy will be available on the streaming service on August 31, 2026 — exactly seven months after its Japanese theatrical release.

The events unfold in the year 105 of the Universal Century, 12 years after Char's Rebellion. Hathaway Noa, the son of One Year War veteran Bright Noa, secretly leads the anti-government organization Mafty. Its members oppose the Earth Federation and eliminate high-ranking officials.

In the new chapter, Hathaway prepares an aerial assault on a government conference in Adelaide. Simultaneously, Federation officer Kenneth Sleg develops an operation to protect the event and destroy Mafty. The mysterious Gigi Andalusia once again intervenes in the conflict, her unusual abilities awakening painful memories in the protagonist.

The sequel was directed by Shukou Murase, who also directed the first film and worked on "Ergo Proxy" and "Genocidal Organ." The screenplay was written by Yasuyuki Mutou, and the music was composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Sunrise studio is responsible for the production.

Kensho Ono, Reina Ueda, and Junichi Suwabe returned to their roles as Hathaway Noa, Gigi Andalusia, and Kenneth Sleg, respectively. Soma Saito once again voiced Lane Aim.

The release date for the final part of the trilogy has not yet been announced.
