The mobile port of the strategy game from Sad Socket, which has garnered 91% positive reviews on Steam, will be released with the support of Playdigious.

Publisher Playdigious has released a trailer for the mobile version of the strategy game 9 Kings by Sad Socket studio and announced that the game will be available on Android and iOS in the fourth quarter of 2026. Pre-registration is already open on Google Play, and pre-orders can be placed on the App Store.

9 Kings combines kingdom building, deck-building, roguelike elements, and auto-battles. Players will choose one of nine rulers, each offering a unique playstyle. Some kings accumulate gold and hire thousands of mercenaries, while others control natural forces, manipulate time, use dark magic, or summon armies of imps.

Kingdom development occurs through cards: users place buildings and defensive towers, recruit troops, and combine spell effects. After defeating opponents, players can take their unique cards and add them to their deck, creating increasingly powerful combinations.

Developers will redesign the interface and add full touch controls specifically for mobile devices. The Android version will feature Google Play Games achievements and cloud saves, as well as shared progress with the PC version launched through the same service. Transfer of saves from Steam is not announced.

Upon release, 9 Kings will be available to try for free, but access to all kings, quests, multiplayer, and other features will unlock after purchasing the full version for $8.99.
