"My Hero Academia" Meets Vampire Survivors: MHA: United Survival Pre-load Has Started
Four months after the closure of My Hero Ultra Impact, KLab launches a new mobile project for the franchise.
KLab Games has opened pre-loading for My Hero Academia: United Survival. The client can already be installed on iOS and Android smartphones, but players will be able to access the game after the servers launch on August 6.
United Survival brings the heroes and villains of "My Hero Academia" into a survivors-like format, familiar from Vampire Survivors and other games in the genre. Players will have to destroy numerous waves of enemies, choose upgrades during runs, and gradually strengthen their characters.
The main difference of the project will be the team system: users will be able to form squads of three heroes with unique quirks and ultimate moves. Character abilities can be combined for joint attacks.
In addition to retelling the anime's events, which players will be able to experience in-game, the developers promise to add original storylines and special moves created specifically for the project.
My Hero Academia: United Survival is developed by KLab Games in collaboration with gumi and is distributed under a free-to-play model. The project comes four months after the closure of My Hero Ultra Impact — the previous mobile game in the franchise.
This became one of the main topics of discussion among fans after the announcement of United Survival in April 2026. Some players began to question how long the new project would last on the market, given the fate of the previous game and KLab's experience with mobile adaptations of anime franchises.
Now, players will have to see if United Survival becomes a full-fledged long-term project or just another mobile game designed for quick commercial success due to the franchise's popularity.
