According to Deadline, New Zealand actress Lydia Peckham has joined the cast of The Legend of Zelda adaptation.
The character she will play has not yet been revealed, but Peckham has already worked with the film's director, Wes Ball, on "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes," where she played Suna. The actress also appeared in Netflix's "Cowboy Bebop" and Apple TV+'s "Mr. Corman" series.
The news continued a series of recent casting announcements for the adaptation. In addition to Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason as Link and Princess Zelda, the film will feature Uli Latukefu, Dichen Lachman, and Yvonne Strahovski. Latukefu played Ganondorf, and Lachman played Impa; Strahovski's role has not yet been revealed.
Sam Neill has also joined the cast. The Legend of Zelda adaptation was the "Jurassic Park" star's last work before his death in July 2026.
The Legend of Zelda is set to premiere on April 30, 2027.
