The star of "Jurassic Park" finished filming shortly before his death in July 2026.

Actor Sam Neill managed to star in the live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda. According to Deadline, his participation in the film was the actor's last role; he passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 78.

Which character Neill played is not yet known. Dichen Lachman from "Severance" and Yvonne Strahovski, known for "The Handmaid's Tale," also joined the cast. Lachman was cast as Impa, and Strahovski played an as-yet-unnamed queen.

The main roles in the adaptation were played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason, who portrayed Link and Princess Zelda, respectively. Ganondorf was embodied by Uli Latukefu from the series "Young Rock." The actor signed a contract for several films, leaving open the possibility of his return in potential sequels.

Before the premiere of "The Legend of Zelda," audiences will see Neill in the film "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire," which will be released on March 26, 2027. The actor's final work will appear in cinemas on April 30.
