(18+) From the creators of Re:Zero and "Goblin Slayer": "Magical Explorer" trailer unveiled

The anime's protagonist will be a minor character who knows all the secrets of the surrounding world.

Aniplex has unveiled the first trailer and poster for the anime "Magical Explorer," and also revealed the voice cast.

According to the plot, the protagonist is passionate about the erotic role-playing game Magical Explorer, but one day wakes up inside it. However, instead of the protagonist surrounded by girls, he gets the body of Kosuke Takioto — an unlucky minor character who is assigned the role of the main character's comical friend.

But Kosuke knows the plot, the world's structure, and the secrets hidden by the developers perfectly. The hero decides to use these advantages, change his own destiny, and help the beloved heroines achieve happy endings.

The main roles are voiced by:

• Nobunaga Shimazaki — Kosuke Takioto;
• Ai Kakuma — Ludi;
• Saori Onishi — Yukine Mizumori;
• Mao Ichimichi — Nanami.

The production of "Magical Explorer" is handled by WHITE FOX, known for "Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World" and "Goblin Slayer." Kazuki Ohashi is the director, Satoko Sekine is in charge of the script, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music.

The series is set to premiere in October 2026.
