Phantom Blade Zero will be released on PS5 only digitally, according to Sony's own advertising

On August 17, a State of Play dedicated to the game will take place.

Sony has opened pre-orders for Phantom Blade Zero on PlayStation 5 and PC, but has not yet announced a physical edition of the game.

Players noticed this after the release of a new trailer and the announcement of a special State of Play episode, which will take place on August 17. PlayStation Blog materials do not mention a physical version of the game, although in the case of other temporary PS5 exclusives, such as Silent Hill 2, Sony separately confirmed a disc release.

An additional reason for suspicion was that at the end of the new trailer on the official PlayStation YouTube channel, instead of a regular PS5 with a disc drive, a PS5 Digital Edition is shown.

Publisher and developer S-Game has not yet announced a physical edition of Phantom Blade Zero. The company has also not yet responded to questions about a possible disc release.

However, this is currently only a presumption: there is no official confirmation of a digital release on PS5.
