Four Minutes of "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" Leaked Online

Fans are still waiting for the official premiere of the first trailer.

A four-minute clip from the animated film "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" has appeared online. The publication was soon blocked due to a copyright complaint, which indirectly confirms the authenticity of the recording.

The first few minutes continue the ending of "Across the Spider-Verse." Miles Morales tries to explain to his Earth-42 counterpart and Uncle Aaron that his father is destined to die during a "canonical event," but Miles himself intends to change the predetermined future.

Then the video transitions into a trailer montage. Miles fights Miguel O'Hara, Peter B. Parker appears with an updated look, and Spider-Gwen and Spider-Ham confront Kingpin. Spider-Punk and The Spot also appear in the frame.

It is likely that the leaked material is what Sony Pictures Animation showed to CinemaCon attendees in April. At that time, the company presented a lengthy excerpt from the animated film behind closed doors but did not release it online.

The leak coincided with the opening of D23, so fans speculated that the video might have been prepared for the festival. However, "Beyond the Spider-Verse" is not announced in the official program, and the rights to the animated film and its promotional materials belong to Sony Pictures. It is currently unknown whether the company plans to release this video publicly.

"Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" will conclude the animated trilogy about Miles Morales. The directors are Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, and the screenplay was written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. The premiere is scheduled for June 18, 2027.
