News
Boris PiletskiyThe Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion was released without Russian voice acting. This year, GamesVoice studio decided to launch a fundraiser for an unofficial localization and recently announced the successful completion of the fundraiser.
In total, players donated more than 3 million rubles. The GamesVoice team addressed the community and presented promo art in honor of the fundraiser's completion:
GamesVoice studio is pleased to announce that the fundraising for the Russian voice acting of the "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty" expansion has been successfully completed. You have once again proven that you can be relied upon! And this victory of yours is perhaps one of the most brilliant!
According to the localizers, recordings "are almost continuous." The team's priority is to bring back the original performers:
The other day, Viktor Vektor and Anders Hellman were voiced, and just yesterday – Josh Kavorqin and Carol Emeka. And this is only a small part. We will leave the rest for the diary, which is already in the works.
GamesVoice also reminded that fundraisers are being held for other projects, for example, for the recent Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
