Car Gameplay in American Truck Simulator - New Atlas Mechanic with Points of Interest Revealed

The developers of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator have published a new development diary for the Road Trip mode. Players will be able to explore the game world in regular cars.

Previously, SCS Software talked about the new “Atlas” system, which will make car gameplay in American Truck Simulator more interesting – elements will be added to the game that systematize the process of exploring locations and reward players. For example, it will be possible to get cabin decorations for the collection.

In a recent diary, the developers decided to show the “Atlas” mechanic in action – they published an overview trailer of car gameplay in American Truck Simulator. The new system will be available in the main menu under the “Navigation” tab: in the interface, players will be able to track a list of places that have not yet been explored, and here they can select a point of interest and build a route to it.
