Creator of "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" Confirms Authenticity of Leaked Trailer

Earlier, almost five minutes from the final part of the animated trilogy about Miles Morales appeared online.

Christopher Miller, writer and producer of the animated trilogy about Miles Morales, reacted to the leak of four and a half minutes from the film "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse". His comment effectively confirmed the authenticity of the footage that appeared online:

The video began circulating on social media on August 14, but most posts were soon removed at the request of the copyright holder. Sony Pictures has not officially commented on the leak.

The leaked material only partially resembled a trailer. The first part continued the final scene of "Across the Spider-Verse", when Miles Morales tried to explain to his Earth-42 counterpart and Uncle Aaron that he had to return home and save his father from death during a "canonical event".

Then the video transitioned to a dynamic montage of individual scenes. It showed Miles' confrontation with Spider-Man 2099, the return of Gwen Stacy, Peter B. Parker, and Spider-Punk, as well as The Spot at the peak of his power. Some episodes contained unfinished animation and visual effects, which is consistent with Miller's words about the state of the material.

Despite the video's appearance during D23, there is no confirmation of its connection to the Disney event. The animated trilogy is handled by Sony Pictures Animation, so the decision to officially publish such materials rests with Sony.
