D23 attendees shared an exclusive video from the presentation.

A recording of the first teaser for the film "Star Wars: Starfighter," which was shown to D23 attendees, has leaked online. The content of the video matches the accounts of journalists who were present at the presentation.

At the beginning of the teaser, a boy played by Flynn Gray removes a tarp from an old starship and runs his hand along its hull. He is stopped by Cade Oberon, Ryan Gosling's character. The hero explains that they are looking at a decommissioned Imperial fighter, once considered the fastest ship in the galaxy. When the boy admits he's never heard of it, Cade replies: "There's a reason for that."

This is followed by a montage of scenes featuring flights over water and swamps, a speeder chase, and ship repairs. In the finale, Cade takes the controls and accelerates the fighter to immense speed.

The video is available at the following link.

The events of "Starfighter" will unfold approximately five years after the events of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker." The film will tell a standalone story with new characters. Alongside Gosling, the cast includes Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamil Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams. Shawn Levy, who directed "Deadpool & Wolverine," is the director, and Jonathan Tropper wrote the screenplay.

The premiere of "Star Wars: Starfighter" is scheduled for May 28, 2027. When Lucasfilm will officially release the teaser is unknown.
