Grim Roguelike Hell Clock with 82% Positive Reviews on Steam Released on Android
Players will have to descend into hell and free the soul of their deceased mentor.
Publisher Rogue Snail studio has released the Android version of Hell Clock — a role-playing action game with roguelike elements.
The game takes place in a fantastical version of 19th-century Brazil. The main character, Pajeú, tries to free the soul of his deceased mentor. To do this, he repeatedly descends into dungeons, fights hordes of undead, collects relics, and combines abilities. Each run is time-limited, but players can choose an easier mode without a timer or a harder one where defeat leads to the character's permanent death. Hell Clock's story campaign consists of three acts, after which the Ascension system with customizable challenges unlocks.
The original Hell Clock was released on Steam on July 22, 2025. At the time of publication, the game has 82% positive reviews after more than 3470 user reviews.
The mobile version is sold on Google Play for 1199 rubles. For comparison, on Russian Steam, Hell Clock costs 710 rubles, and the complete edition with the Cursed War add-on costs 1232 rubles. However, the description of the mobile version says nothing about the presence of the add-on.
The developers have not yet announced plans to release the game on iOS either.
