Russian lunar colony simulator prepares for full release on Steam - The Crust developers show version 1.0

Last year, VEOM Studio and Crytivo introduced The Crust on PC via Steam in "early access" format. Players are invited to take on the role of CEO of a space company.

From a gameplay perspective, The Crust is a large-scale economic strategy game about lunar colonization with survival elements. Players will have to balance survival and development, manage a team, resources, and infrastructure. There will be an opportunity to design automated production lines and fulfill orders from Earth corporations and states:

Create scarcity by speculating on demand for long-term gain, or invest your surplus in ambitious megaprojects that enable humanity to become a multi-planetary species.

The Crust developers are preparing for a full release – they have published a teaser for version 1.0:

The full version of the game will feature a complete story campaign with multiple endings, an improved sandbox, and an updated prologue. There will be global events such as solar flares and meteor showers, as well as new mechanics – building roads for trucks, firing colonists and adjusting salary levels, a module and conveyor planning mode, and much more.
