Kadokawa continues to introduce viewers to the characters of the upcoming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice adaptation.

The ninth character trailer for the anime "Sekiro: No Defeat" has been released on the KADOKAWAanime YouTube channel. The new video is dedicated to the Young Water Child, an inhabitant of the inner sanctuary of Senpo Temple.

The girl was the only survivor after the monks' experiments, who tried to artificially reproduce the Dragon's Heritage using the Waters of Youth. In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, she guards the Mortal Blade, helps the Wolf, and plays a key role in achieving the "Return" ending.

The character was once again voiced by Risa Shimizu, who performed this role in the FromSoftware game.

"Sekiro: No Defeat" will transfer the plot of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice into 2D animated drawings. The production is handled by Qzil.la studio, Ken'ichi Kutsuna is the director, Takuya Sato wrote the script, and Takashi Mukoda is in charge of the battle scene direction.

The anime's theatrical release in Japan will begin on September 4, 2026, and will last for three weeks. Later, "Sekiro: No Defeat" will appear on Crunchyroll, but the digital release date has not yet been announced.
