A Force-user will still appear in "Star Wars: Starfighter" - Media
Potential spoilers for the new "Star Wars" universe film starring Ryan Gosling have leaked online.
One of the main characters in the film "Star Wars: Starfighter" will be able to use the Force. This was reported by MakingStarWars, which published a detailed retelling of one of the film's scenes. Lucasfilm has not yet confirmed this information.
Caution, potential spoilers follow.
The abilities will be discovered in the young hero Flynn Gray, who travels with Cade Oberon, played by Ryan Gosling. During a fight in an underground arena, the boy will try to use the Force to protect his companion from a much more dangerous opponent. He will manage to briefly stop the fighter's blow, although the hero does not yet really know how to control his abilities.
According to MakingStarWars, the boy's training will be one of the main plotlines of the film. Cade will have to take him to a Jedi temple or academy on the planet Adaria, where the young hero will be taught to control the Force.
In the same scene, a woman named Belle, connected to Cade's past, will appear. According to MakingStarWars, she is played by Eva Mendes – Ryan Gosling's wife, who has not starred in a feature film for more than ten years.
For now, all this information should be treated as a rumor. Disney and Lucasfilm have not announced Eva Mendes among the film's cast and have not revealed details of its plot.
The events of "Star Wars: Starfighter" will unfold five years after the events of "Skywalker. The Rise." Shawn Levy directed, and Jonathan Tropper wrote the screenplay. The premiere will take place on May 28, 2027.
