"The End": Navigator Edric Promises a Dark Future in New "Dune: Part Three" Teaser
Warner Bros. responded to high demand for early screenings and opened sales for additional tickets.
Warner Bros. has expanded the early release of "Dune: Part Three." The first screenings will take place on December 14 in IMAX 70mm, and starting December 15, the film will begin showing in other IMAX theaters and premium formats. Along with opening sales for additional tickets, the studio released a new teaser for the film.
The new clip is about 33 seconds long and consists almost entirely of new footage. In particular, the teaser features the Spacing Guild Navigator Edric for the first time in full, who, when asked by Irulan what "lies ahead," answers with one word: "The End."
The story will unfold 17 years after the end of the second part and will show the consequences of the holy war that Paul Atreides unleashed at the head of the Fremen, which claimed billions of lives across the galaxy. Becoming Emperor Muad'Dib, Paul gradually turns into a tyrant and a hostage of his own prophecies, while a large-scale conspiracy brews against his rule.
Timothy Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, and Anya Taylor-Joy returned to their roles. Robert Pattinson also joined the cast.
The full release of "Dune: Part Three" starts on December 18, 2026 – on the same day as "Avengers: Doctor Doom."
