According to the organization, the attackers are using the published materials to promote their own meme cryptocurrency: links and QR codes are placed in the videos, and users are offered to pay for access to additional leaks.

Stop Killing Games urged not to send money to hackers, even if their actions seem justified to some. The organization considers such a method of attracting attention illegal and explicitly states that it has nothing to do with the fight for players' rights.

The organization also reminded that thousands of Rockstar Games employees are behind the development of GTA VI, and they do not make decisions regarding the company's digital distribution or game preservation. According to Stop Killing Games, such attacks primarily harm developers and can simultaneously damage the reputation of the movement that is trying to achieve changes through legal means.
