Anime "Overgeared: The Power of Artifacts" to Premiere October 2nd - New Trailer

The adaptation of the Korean webtoon is handled by J.C.STAFF studio.

The anime "Overgeared: The Power of Artifacts" will premiere on October 2, 2026. Along with the release date, the creators unveiled a new poster and a second trailer, featuring a snippet of the opening theme "SATISFY" performed by the Japanese rock band Re.

The story unfolds in the popular VR-MMORPG Satisfy, boasting two billion players. The protagonist, nicknamed Grid, tries to escape poverty and one day finds a legendary item that allows him to become the heir of a great blacksmith. However, along with the new class, Grid's level drops below zero, so he has to level up almost from scratch.

J.C.STAFF, known for producing the infamous third season of "One-Punch Man," is responsible for the production. Ayako Kono, who worked on the "Sword Art Online: Progressive" films, serves as the director. Kenta Ihara is writing the script, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music.
