Creators of "Rick and Morty" reveal release dates for the tenth season

The creators intend to stick to the schedule of the previous two seasons.

The tenth season of "Rick and Morty" is expected to premiere in May 2027. Showrunner Scott Marder stated that the animated series will return "around the same time" as in previous years, and new episodes will continue to be released on the usual schedule:

Seasons eight and nine premiered in May and concluded in July, so the tenth season is expected to follow this schedule. Adult Swim has not yet announced the exact premiere date.

Production of new episodes is ongoing, and "Rick and Morty" has already been renewed through its twelfth season. If the annual schedule is maintained, the eleventh and twelfth seasons could be released in 2028 and 2029, respectively.

In parallel, Adult Swim is preparing the second season of the spin-off "President Curtis," a full-length animated film about Rick and Morty, and a separate live-action film.
