Blood Moon is Near: Vampire Survivors to Get New DLC with Heroes, Weapons, and a Huge Map Next Week

Developers revealed the content of the Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC.

Poncle studio revealed details about the Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC for Vampire Survivors and announced its release date. It will be available on August 28 for PC, consoles, and mobile devices.

The DLC will introduce 12 new characters, over 16 types of weapons including evolutions, and a large map called Red Moon Manor. The fortress once belonged to the Order of the Red Moon, founded by Saint Baal'Tasar after a vision of a heavenly land granting eternal life. During his pilgrimage, he disappeared without a trace, and the order split into several sects. Now, the Blood Moon clan intends to follow Baal'Tasar's footsteps and find out what happened to him.

Players will be able to play as the cult leader Malice Bloodmoon, Calogero Bloodmoon with a huge axe, and Baal'Tasar himself. Other heroes will include Astarte, capable of possessing old bones, and King Sargon, imprisoned in a hellish dimension.

Legacy of the Bloodmoon will also add eight music tracks and will cost $0.99. Simultaneously, poncle will reduce the price of Legacy of the Moonspell to the same amount.
