Genshin Impact turned into a shooter - players took weapons from Snezhnaya and started a shootout in the open world

This summer, Genshin Impact received a major update 7.0 "Everwinter Without Mercy". miHoYo (HoYoverse) added a new region to the game — Snezhnaya, as well as new mechanics. Players gained the ability to use something akin to firearms: at such moments, the gameplay begins to resemble a third-person shooter.

As it turned out, under certain conditions, players will be able to take firearms out of a special zone into the regular open world, and then go shoot enemies.

To do this, the player must first get a gun, and then glitch through textures: eventually, they can get into other locations.

IKOAN clarified that the "Gunner Traveler" will not be able to play in co-op, but can visit the Serenitea Pot.

Currently, the creators of Genshin Impact are preparing update 7.1 with new characters. Earlier, miHoYo already published several teasers and talked about the lore of the newcomers.
