Strictly Limited, in collaboration with ATARI, announced the return of physical copies of the platformers Mr. Nutz and Mr. Nutz: Hoppin' Mad for SNES, SEGA Genesis, and SEGA Mega Drive consoles.
Mr. Nutz was released in 1993 on SNES, and then in 1994 on SEGA Mega Drive. It's a game about a brave red squirrel who makes his way through forests, castles, caves, and other locations to stop the villain Mr. Blizzard from freezing the planet.
Strictly Limited states that this re-release features smooth controls, vibrant graphics, engaging level exploration, and countless hidden secrets.
Alongside it will be Mr. Nutz: Hoppin' Mad — a long-lost sequel originally developed for Amiga and planned for release on Mega Drive under the title Mr. Nutz 2. In this game, the tailed protagonist battles an invasion of mischievous alien chickens across vast levels connected by an open map.
Pre-orders for Mr. Nutz and Mr. Nutz: Hoppin' Mad are available now. Each game will cost 49.99 euros (4830 rubles). Shipping and the official release of the cartridges, compatible with SNES, Genesis, and Mega Drive consoles, are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
