It is assumed that enemies will no longer become invisible.

In August, Battlestate Games studio released update 0.5.4 for the online shooter Escape from Tarkov: Arena. It includes technical improvements and more.

The developers reported that they accelerated player death processing on the server and improved the weapon hit registration system. In addition, "one of the problems" that led to possible mass player disconnections from matches was fixed.

Sound changes were also made: VOIP, radio, and match readiness screen sound volumes were balanced. A system for mixing first-person gunshot sounds indoors, outdoors, and near openings was added.

Some other changes and improvements:

  • Fixed a bug where a second confirmation window appeared when trying to cancel a quick reconnection;
  • Fixed incorrect display of received rewards in match history;
  • Fixed issues with various effects interacting with smoke grenades.
  • Fixed possible causes of enemies becoming invisible.
  • A number of other minor fixes have been made.

In the Escape from Tarkov: Arena community, a poll was launched asking "Has the delay between death and its display decreased?" — many answered that they "noticed no changes" (42%); 16% confirmed that the death display time decreased, and almost 7% of respondents reported that "the death display time increased." The remaining participants chose the option "I want to see the results."
