The studio has big plans for the development of the No Rest for the Wicked franchise and beyond.

Moon Studios boss recently spoke out on social media again. Thomas Mahler shared some plans for new projects and showed a teaser.

He reported that the studio had been experimenting with a Survival realm for some time, which would allow players to complete all of No Rest for the Wicked as a "survival game." During the process, Thomas had the idea to make a full-fledged survival game:

I've been working even more actively on this lately and now I'm almost certain: using all the wonderful developments we've created over the last decade, we can probably make the best survival game on the market.

The developers also targeted another genre (Thomas did not reveal details):

There's another genre we're targeting and already prototyping, so expect at least one new game using the IP [intellectual property] and story of No Rest for the Wicked.

Recently, Moon Studios created a subsidiary under the Moon brand called "Moonities," which acts as a new label. This will allow developers to release "smaller and more experimental projects." The first such game will be Luma.

The developer published a teaser on social media, and also presented a 10-hour demo on the official Luma website:

Luma is my experiment in creating a completely new simulation genre: I took some of the best elements from Minecraft, SimCity, and Civilization to make something fundamentally new. But be careful: the game is already very addictive and very FUN.
