The premiere of the fantasy drama "Hard to Be a God," based on the novel of the same name by the Strugatsky brothers, took place on Wink. On the release day, four episodes became immediately available to viewers, and the remaining six will be released one per week until the finale on October 15.

The action unfolds in the distant future. A young employee of the Institute of Experimental History, Anton, travels to another planet and, under the name of Don Rumata Estorsky, infiltrates the state of Arkanar, which is stuck at the level of the late Middle Ages.

Anton's task is to observe what is happening and save local scientists and thinkers, avoiding direct interference in the course of history. Following this rule becomes increasingly difficult when the authorities of Arkanar begin to persecute and destroy educated people. In parallel, the hero tries to find out the fate of his father, who disappeared without a trace on this planet.

"Hard to Be a God" was produced by "NMG Studio" and Team Films with the support of the Internet Development Institute. The script was written by Andrey Zolotarev, who worked on "Slovo Patsana. Blood on the Asphalt." Dmitry Tyurin, director of "Trigger" and the second season of "Epidemic," served as director.

Don Rumata was played by Aleksandar Radojicic, known for "The Balkan Line." Sergey Bezrukov played Don Condor, Fyodor Bondarchuk played Don Kuba, Fyodor Lavrov played Don Reba, and Nikita Kologrivy appeared as Baron Pampa. The cast also included Ravshana Kurkova and Viktoria Isakova.
