The most profitable gacha games of August 2026 have been named - Genshin Impact, HSR, and ZZZ revenue dropped
Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero could not hold their positions for long.
Fans of gacha games continue to track the financial success of various representatives of the genre. Data for August 2026 has recently become available.
The published ranking includes various gacha games, including three projects from miHoYo (HoYoverse). Last month, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero saw revenue growth — Genshin managed to take first place in the chart, HSR was second, and ZZZ closed the top three. However, the games could not maintain their positions — revenues decreased.
- Genshin Impact — second place; $38.39 million (previously in July — $55.99 million)
- Honkai Star Rail — third place; $29.72 million (previously in July — $42.08 million).
- Zenless Zone Zero — sixth place; $25.32 million (previously in July — $37.87 million).
The top five gacha games by revenue in August 2026 are as follows:
- Fate/Grand Order — $41.17 million
- Genshin Impact — $38.39 million
- Honkai Star Rail — $29.72 million
- Naruto Mobile (Chinese version) — $27.5 million
- Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket — $26 million

As usual, the compiled ranking only takes into account revenue from mobile platforms (some games are also available on PC, for example, miHoYo projects). There is also a nuance in the calculation: “Since Google Play does not exist in China, estimates published for Android data in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country.”
