Creator of the Popular Half-Life: Alyx Mod Released the Shooter Gunman Contracts Stand Alone
The modder's new project can also be played without a VR device.
In September, developer ANB_Seth and publisher 2080 Games released the new shooter Gunman Contracts - Stand Alone on PC via Steam in early access.
ANB_Seth is a solo developer who created the popular modification for Half-Life: Alyx — Gunman Contracts – Chapter 1 & Chapter 2. His new project grew out of previous works: it offers players action in the spirit of the “John Wick” franchise.
According to the plot of Gunman Contracts - Stand Alone, operative “Gunman” targets the Collectors — a criminal organization that kills and abducts innocent people for currently unknown reasons:
Gear up, aim, and be ready to fight your way to the grim truth behind the Collectors' operations. Your path will lead from an old hideout on the outskirts of the city through a warehouse district to a mafia-controlled restaurant, where a dark secret hides beneath the surface.
The Gunman Contracts - Stand Alone page on Steam is available at the following link. Reviews for the current version of the game are “mostly positive,” with a 78% rating after a thousand reviews. The game is available not only in VR, a non-VR mode was also provided.
The developer is not yet ready to say how long the game will remain in early access. He intends to add new content to the game and improve it.
