All Nightmares Return: New Teaser for "American Horror Story" Season 13 Released
Characters from across the anthology will unite to fight "absolute evil" in just one week.
FX has unveiled a new teaser for the thirteenth season of "American Horror Story" titled "The Great Reveal." The video continues to reveal a massive crossover that will bring back characters from different chapters of the anthology.
Earlier, Ryan Murphy compared the new season to "The Avengers," whose heroes unite to fight a common enemy:
"It's like 'The Avengers.' They all come together to defeat absolute evil. <...> Everyone thinks it's going to be a 'Coven' season, but it's not. It will unite all seasons. I spent many months on the script and wanted to make the thirteenth installment special. It turned out cool and fun."
Many actors will return to several of their characters: Sarah Paulson will play six out of seven heroines, Evan Peters will play five roles, and Jessica Lange will play four heroines. The cast also includes Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, John Waters, and Paul Anthony Kelly.
The thirteenth season of "American Horror Story" premieres on September 24 on FX and Hulu with three episodes. The remaining episodes will be released until October 29.
