Diablo IV and PoE 2 competitor to get fifth season - Last Epoch new content trailer

The ARPG developers are preparing new content and mechanics.

Recently, Eleventh Hour Games studio reminded about itself again. Now the developers of Last Epoch are preparing to launch the fifth season and they have published a trailer dedicated to the upcoming innovations.

Last Epoch will feature the boss Morditas, God of Bloodshed; a new seasonal mechanic "Rage of Morditas" and several additional skills will be added; various QoL improvements will be introduced, such as a new interface for "activities", as well as new item sets.

The release of Last Epoch's fifth season "Rage of the Frostborn" is scheduled for October 1, 2026. The developers have not yet published a detailed description of the innovations: they are going to start sharing additional details from September 21.

Since the release of the full version of Last Epoch, the project's audience has significantly decreased. At the time of the 1.0 release, the ARPG's online presence on Steam exceeded 264 thousand players, while recently the peak online has been at the level of 1 – 1.5 thousand users.

Overall, Last Epoch has "mostly positive" reviews, with a rating of 76% after more than 118 thousand user reviews.
