Arc Raiders Developers Show Teaser for Major Frozen Trail Update

An extended showcase of the update will be held soon.

The Embark Studios team has started teasing the presentation of the next update for Arc Raiders. According to the developers, the Frozen Trail update will be the biggest in the project's history.

An extended showcase of Frozen Trail is expected on September 23, and for now, players are offered to watch a short teaser video:

A few months ago, Embark Studios announced a change in Arc Raiders' support model. The developers decided to switch from monthly updates to releasing two major updates per year. Frozen Trail will be the first such "major" update after the change in approach to working on the game.

Previously, the authors of Arc Raiders published a diary dedicated to the Frozen Trail update. They said that a new map would be added to the game – players would be able to explore a snow-covered settlement located at the foot of high mountains. The appearance of new ARC robots, some kind of "operation" for experienced players (details have not yet been disclosed), and a deepening of the progression system are also expected – the skill tree will be adjusted, and "outposts" that players can decorate will be added.

The release of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for October 8, 2026.
