Sebastian Stan commented on the transition from Marvel to DC for "The Batman Part II"
Working on Matt Reeves' "The Batman" sequel opened up new facets of comic book films for the actor.
Sebastian Stan commented on his transition from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the world of Matt Reeves' “The Batman”. At the Toronto Film Festival, the actor admitted that working on the sequel made him look at comics differently:
“It’s pretty crazy. I thought I knew a thing or two about the comic book world. Turns out I didn’t.”
Stan also said he was happy to be filming with Scarlett Johansson again. In the MCU, the actors played Bucky Barnes and Natasha Romanoff and appeared together in several films:
“I really enjoyed working with her. I’m ready to film anything with her, so this is a nice continuation.”
The studio has not yet officially introduced Stan and Johansson's characters. Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne. Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, and Andy Serkis will also return to their roles.
“The Batman Part II” is scheduled to premiere on February 18, 2028.
