Sony showed another DualSense, and players again remembered games

PlayStation continues to release new versions of DualSense, while announcements of games from Sony's internal studios have been noticeably fewer recently, leading players to joke that there are already more controllers for PS5 than games.

Sony is not slowing down the pace of releasing new DualSense variants. In recent days, two controllers based on Marvel’s Wolverine have gone on sale, a GTA VI-themed version will be released soon, and now PlayStation announced a collaboration with Lisa, the result of which will be another special gamepad for PS5.

The community quickly reacted to the situation. Players noticed that Sony regularly introduces new controllers, while announcements of new PlayStation Studios projects happen significantly less often.

“PS5 already has more controllers than games,” one player jokes. Another claims that “you can probably buy ten times more DualSense controllers than games on PS5.” There are also comments that the console already has “more limited edition controllers than games.”

These are intentionally exaggerated jokes, but many similar reactions have appeared. Players use new hardware announcements to draw attention to the anticipation of major projects from Sony's internal studios. At the same time, many consider the DualSense controllers themselves to be impressive, especially the Marvel’s Wolverine-themed versions and other limited editions.
