Dubbed Trailer Released for Korean Animated Drama "Water Child"

Pioneer Film Company has released a dubbed trailer for the Korean animated film "Water Child". The film tells the story of a young man named Gon, who as a child was on the verge of death underwater. His body inexplicably changed: gills appeared, saving the boy's life and allowing him to breathe underwater, and his skin became covered in scales.

His unusual appearance forced Gon to distance himself from others. He settled by the sea and got used to spending his days alone, until an unexpected encounter disrupted his usual routine. Now the hero must unravel his own past and return to a memory hidden in the depths of the sea.

The literary basis for the film was the novel "Water Child" by South Korean writer Ku Byung-mo. The animation was prepared by Studio Meditation With a Pencil, known for the film "Green Days".

"Water Child" was first shown at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The film will be released in Russia on October 22.
