"Spider-Man 5" to Feature Peter Parker and Miles Morales - Insider
Marvel and Sony are already discussing the further development of the film franchise after the success of "A New Day."
According to insider MyTimeToShineHello, Miles Morales may join Peter Parker in the fifth solo Spider-Man film, and Tom Holland has already signed a new "major contract" with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.
Marvel and Sony have not yet revealed details of future solo Spider-Man films or confirmed which project Miles will debut in. However, Kevin Feige previously stated that Marvel plans to introduce a live-action version of the character after the animated "Spider-Verse" trilogy concludes:
"Yes, we definitely have plans for a live-action version of Miles. I think the fate of the Spider-Man films leads to adding him after the "Spider-Verse" series concludes."
The final part of the animated trilogy, "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse," will be released in June 2027. MyTimeToShineHello previously claimed that Miles Morales would first appear in "Avengers: Secret Wars," scheduled for release on December 17, 2027. This release order does not contradict Feige's words about the character's appearance after the "Spider-Verse" concludes, but for now, this information remains at the rumor level.
