The actress playing Chun-Li trained hard to match the character's image.

Callina Liang, who plays Chun-Li in the new Street Fighter adaptation, posted photos and a video from the set, showing her transformation for the film. The actress revealed that to achieve physical resemblance to Chun-Li, she followed an intense training program to gain mass and ate 12 eggs daily:

“When I was bulking, I ate 12 eggs a day. Every two hours I needed to eat, and I was almost nauseous. But it worked. By the end of filming, each of my thighs had increased by six and a half centimeters.”

Kitao Sakurai is directing. Street Fighter is set to premiere on October 16, 2026.
