Remedy has already weakened several bosses in Control Resonant and made leveling easier
The game received its first hotfix.
Remedy Entertainment has released the first hotfix for Control Resonant. The developers focused primarily on balancing the early game, reducing the health of most enemies, as well as two Resonants — Dancer and Deserter.
In addition, these bosses are now easier to stun. According to the developers, the changes are designed to address issues with excessive enemy endurance that could arise early in the playthrough.
Significant changes have also affected Dylan's abilities. The maximum power stat now scales with the number of upgrades obtained: the more upgrades unlocked, the higher the damage dealt. At the same time, the “X percent Multiplier” parameter in the Aberrant power section has been replaced with a more understandable “Damage and Stun Percentage” to more accurately reflect its impact on combat.
The build power indicator has also been reworked. Now, its calculation takes into account unlocked combat abilities, Aberrant forms and upgrades, talents, and core upgrades. Previously, the indicator depended on equipped weapon forms, talents, and core upgrades.
Remedy also made changes for players who want to experiment with different builds. The cost of items needed to reset skills and reallocate points has been reduced. In addition, vendors now offer more such items. The reward for defeating The Artist — the first Resonant the player encounters in the prologue — has also been increased: instead of one item, he now drops two.
At the same time, the developers have not forgotten about those who find the new balance too easy. In Assist Mode, you can independently adjust enemy health and damage, as well as a number of other difficulty parameters.
