"Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2" and "The Apothecary Diaries" Top the List of Most Anticipated Anime of the Fall Season

The return to Night City and new adventures of Maomao and Jinshi significantly outpaced their closest competitors.

Anime Corner published a viewer rating of the most anticipated new releases of the fall anime season. The poll, which ran from September 9 to 24, involved 7601 people. The votes were distributed as follows:

1. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 — 16.42%
2. The Apothecary Diaries, Season 3 — 15.16%
3. Blue Box 2 — 6.29%
4. Black Clover, Season 2 — 5.47%
5. Ice Walls, Season 2 — 4.30%
6. Firefly Wedding — 3.30%
7. Reincarnated as a Sword 2 — 3.24%
8. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus — 3.09%
9. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run — 3.05%
10. The Detective Is Already Dead, Season 2 — 2.83%

The two leaders significantly outpaced their closest competitors: the third season of “The Apothecary Diaries” premieres on October 2, and “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2” will be released on October 20.

However, several long-awaited continuations remained outside the top ten. Among them are the final fourth season of “Tokyo Revengers,” which also premieres on October 2, and the third season of “Ranma ½,” which will premiere on October 3.
