Fortnite to get a Five Nights at Freddy's collab - new Fortnitemares trailer revealed

Fortnite developers will create content based on another well-known franchise.

In late September, Epic Games officially confirmed a Fortnite collab with Five Nights At Freddy’s. Rumors of such a collaboration had been circulating online for some time, and now the developers have presented a short teaser trailer.

The published video features several well-known characters from the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise — Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy. It is expected that skins of these characters will appear in the game. The video also shows “broken” versions of the animatronics — it is not yet clear whether they will become one of the style options for these skins.

Fortnite developers have not yet published a list of available content. Judging by the presented teaser, an event may appear in the game: at a certain moment, the player climbs inside a damaged animatronic, and the next moment shows gameplay from the animatronic's perspective, attacking ordinary characters.

The start of the Fortnite x Five Nights At Freddy’s collab is scheduled for October 1, 2026. It will launch with a major update called Fortnitemares.
