Prime 1 Studio opened pre-orders for Mr. Freeze statue: eternal cold instead of embraces
Mr. Freeze, who, thanks to the "Heart of Ice" episode from the animated series "Batman," transformed from a villain into a tragic anti-hero committing crimes only to cure his terminally ill wife, will get a new statue from Prime 1 Studio in 2028.
Prime 1 Studio has opened pre-orders for a new 1/3 scale Mr. Freeze statue from the DC universe. Currently, its regular version can be purchased for $2799 (234,416 rubles), and the deluxe version for $3199 (267,916 rubles).
The tragic character, shaped by the 1990s Batman animated series and transferred to comics and cinema, is captured in a moment of silence. The face, visible through the dome, is marked by obsession and pain. The rough cryo-suit has the utilitarian look of industrial equipment.
His calm pose breathes realism. From the tubes hinting at circulating coolant to the mechanisms reinforcing his legs, every component seems purpose-built. The goggles and freezing gun are equipped with LED lighting, whose cold mechanical glow adds emotional depth.
His wife Nora, sleeping under a blue light, is recreated with precise detail down to the faintest signs of life. The deluxe version includes two additional heads with different designs, a bare right arm, and head stands for various display options.
Another head is also included as a bonus part, offering even more customization options. This new product, made of polystone and other materials, is 82 cm high, 61 cm wide, 51 cm deep, and weighs 32.5 kg.
The statue is expected to be released only in February – March 2028, so there will be quite a long wait.
