Sideshow Collectibles Opens Pre-Order for Mr. Freeze Statue - DC Universe Supervillain
In 2027, Sideshow Collectibles plans to release a 59-centimeter statue of the supervillain Mr. Freeze, who can't wait to freeze collectors, Batman, Gotham City, and its inhabitants.
Sideshow Collectibles announced the opening of pre-orders for the 1/4 scale Mr. Freeze statue from the DC universe. It can now be purchased for 692 euros (69,067 rubles).
The collectible measures 59 cm in height, 34 cm in width, and 33 cm in depth. Having escaped from his cell in Arkham Asylum, Victor Fries wields his ice gun – a cryogenic weapon capable of wreaking havoc in Gotham City.
Behind his frost-covered domed helmet lies the blue face of a grim and suffering man who has lost interest in everything but his beloved wife Nora.
The statue captures the mad scientist once again holding the city in his cold embrace, plunging everyone into an unending, piercing chill. This new release, inspired by the comic book adaptation of the character, depicts Mr. Freeze in a heavy-duty cryo-suit that keeps his altered body temperature below freezing.
The fully detailed suit includes a multitude of interconnected tubes and wires, as well as Mr. Freeze's classic red goggles – a color indicating his inner rage and turmoil.
The statue is expected to ship between April and July 2027.
