S.H.I.E.L.D. is back? Marvel unveils mysterious series "Zodiac"
The head of Marvel Television suggested fans guess for themselves who or what the new series will be about.
Marvel Television announced at New York Comic Con the series "Zodiac" — a live-action spy thriller that will be released on Disney+ in 2028.
The plot and characters are still kept secret, but the head of Marvel Television, Brad Winderbaum, suggested comic book fans look for clues in the presented logo:
"If you're a comic book fan, there are a lot of clues hidden in this logo."
Some have already noticed the similarity of the logo to the emblem of S.H.I.E.L.D. — the intelligence organization previously led by Nick Fury. This has led to speculation about its return, although Marvel has not yet confirmed such a connection. Moreover, in the comics, the name "Zodiac" was borne by completely different characters and groups, so the range of possible heroes of the series remains wide.
Marvel has not yet announced the exact premiere date. Given that filming will only begin in spring 2027, the release of "Zodiac" is unlikely to be expected in the first months of 2028.
