Wartime Osaka: New Stranger Than Heaven Trailer Shows Minato in 1943

A new Stranger Than Heaven trailer showed Minato, a district of Osaka in 1943, where luxurious theaters and modern trends coexist with strict wartime restrictions.

RGG Studio continues to reveal different eras and locations of the game. In 1943, against the backdrop of World War II, the city is experiencing a period of “immense upheaval”: people are introduced to new cultures, languages, and forms of self-expression, which are increasingly subjected to control.

Against this backdrop, show business is developing. The trailer shows one of the city's largest theaters, and Makoto Daito is organizing musical performances. Competition among artists remains high.

There is also a less attractive side of Minato – alleys with merchants selling various goods. Among them is a weapons dealer, so Makoto can regularly visit here to stay armed.
